1. Introduction and Eligibility

These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") form a legally binding agreement between We Ride Finances Inc. (https://weridefinances.com) ("Us", "We", "Our") and you ("User", "you", "your"). By using our App, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 16 years old to use the App without parental consent.

2. Third-Party Services & Financial Data

Plaid Integration: We utilize Plaid for bank account linking and data retrieval. You acknowledge that your use of the App is also governed by Plaid's Terms of Use.

Authorization: By connecting a bank account, you grant We Ride Finances Inc. and Plaid a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, copy, and display your financial data solely to provide the Services.

Accuracy: We do not guarantee the accuracy of data provided by third-party financial institutions via Plaid and are not liable for errors in such data.

3. Registration

You agree to provide accurate information (including email and full name) during registration and to keep it up to date. You may receive verification messages via email.

4. Devices and Software

Using our App may require compatible devices, software, and internet connection. You consent to receiving automatic updates and functional notifications as necessary.

5. Subscriptions and Pricing

We may offer in-app purchases or subscription plans. Plans and prices may change without notice. All plans are prepaid, and it's your responsibility to stay updated via our website.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

Use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes, unless otherwise stated.

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

You must not:

Use the App for criminal or unauthorized activity.

Share, rent, reverse engineer, or exploit the App.

Post illegal, discriminatory, or explicit content.

Impersonate, harass, or abuse others.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.

7. Privacy and Data Handling

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We Ride Finances Inc. is committed to handling your data responsibly and securely. Depending on your location, we may process and store your data on servers located in your region (e.g., the United States, European Union, or United Kingdom) to comply with local data protection laws and enhance performance.

By using the App, you consent to the collection, transfer, and processing of your data in accordance with your region’s applicable laws. If data must be transferred across borders (e.g., from the EU to the U.S.), we will take appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved mechanisms under the GDPR.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent. If you are under 16 years old, or below the age of digital consent in your country, we will delete your data unless we have obtained valid and verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.

Consent: By using the App, you grant our third-party provider (Plaid) the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from the relevant financial institution.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages. Maximum liability is limited to $100 or the amount paid.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify We Ride Finances Inc. against any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the App or your breach of these terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

EU/UK/Swiss users may contact us via email (INFO@WERIDEFINANCES.COM) for privacy complaints. Unresolved complaints may be submitted to the BBB EU Privacy Shield:

Under certain conditions, you may also seek binding arbitration. See Annex I of the Privacy Shield for details.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without any warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, virus-free, or error-free service. All warranties, express or implied, are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Amendments

We may update these T&C at any time. Changes become effective:

Immediately for new users, or

After 30 days’ notice (email or in-app) for existing users.

Continued use means you accept the new terms.

13. Severability and Assignment

If any part of these T&C is invalid, the rest remains effective. You may not assign your rights. We may assign ours freely.

14. Intellectual Property and Enforcement

All content in the App, including trademarks and trade secrets, belongs to We Ride Finances Inc. Unauthorized use may cause irreparable harm and result in legal action for damages, including but not limited to punitive damages.

These Terms supersede any prior agreements related to the App.
